Specimen Volume: 2.5 mL of potassium oxalate/sodium fluoride plasma
Transport Temperature: Refrigerate
Collection Instructions: Fasting. Patient should be in a resting state (no exercise) and should not be on any intravenous infusion that would affect acid-base balance. Do not use tourniquet. Spin down immediately. Specimen must be centrifuged and plasma removed within 15 minutes of draw.
